On February 25, Liao Jiasheng, Chairman of the Group, led members of the leadership team and senior executives on visits to various departments at the Group headquarters and subsidiaries in Beijing, extending New Year greetings and best wishes to employees.

Liao and his delegation first toured the office areas on each floor of the headquarters building to convey their greetings. They then split into two teams to visit secondary subsidiaries based in Beijing. “Happy New Year!” and “Belated New Year’s greetings to everyone!” they said warmly at each stop. The Group leaders engaged in cordial conversations with employees, expressed gratitude for their hard work over the past year, and encouraged them to approach the new year with a fresh outlook and high morale. The year 2026 marks the opening year of the 15th Five-Year Plan period and has been designated by the Group as a year for overcoming challenges and forging ahead. During the visits, Liao Jiasheng, on behalf of the Party Committee of the Group, set forth earnest expectations. First, he called for firm confidence and all-out efforts to secure a strong start in the first quarter, noting that a good beginning sets the tone for the whole year. All units were urged to seize opportunities and move proactively to ensure that business indicators progress in line with schedule, using a strong first quarter to drive strong performance throughout the year. Second, he emphasized tackling key challenges and achieving new breakthroughs in critical areas. The Group should focus on its core businesses, including energy conservation and clean energy supply, ecological and environmental protection and resource recycling, ecological restoration and new energy, concentrating resources on overcoming technological bottlenecks and operational difficulties to accelerate the development of new quality productive forces. Third, he stressed deepening reform to continuously stimulate internal momentum and innovation vitality. By advancing state-owned enterprise reform initiatives, optimizing institutional mechanisms, and strengthening technological empowerment, the Group should take the lead in the green and low-carbon transition. Fourth, he underscored the need to hold the bottom line firmly and ensure impeccable safety and environmental protection. It is essential to maintain constant vigilance in workplace safety, strictly fulfill environmental responsibilities, and proactively prevent and mitigate risks to create a stable environment for high-quality development. Fifth, he called for stronger work discipline and renewed entrepreneurial drive. Leaders at all levels should set the example and guide employees to move forward with the determination of starting at full speed and fighting decisively from the outset, ensuring a strong beginning for the 15th Five-Year Plan period.
