On the afternoon of June 29, Liao Jiasheng, Chairman of CECEP, and Zhang Shirong, General Manager of CECEP, held a working meeting at the Group's headquarters with Liu Tao, Vice Governor of Qinghai Province, and his delegation. The two sides held in-depth discussions on deepening strategic cooperation. Wang Jianping, Deputy Secretary-General of the Qinghai Provincial People's Government, and Cao Huabin, Vice General Manager of CECEP, also attended the meeting.
Liao extended a warm welcome to Vice Governor Liu Tao and his delegation and introduced CECEP's overall profile, strategic development plan and business development in Qinghai Province. He noted that, as a central state-owned enterprise specializing in energy conservation and environmental protection, CECEP remains guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Civilization, actively serves China's carbon peak and carbon neutrality goals, and strives to become a leader in the energy conservation and environmental protection industry, a model for green and low-carbon development, and a driving force behind the building of a Beautiful China. He said that Qinghai Province's 15th Five-Year Plan aligns closely with CECEP's development strategy, providing a solid foundation and broad prospects for cooperation. CECEP looks forward to deepening cooperation with Qinghai in areas including new energy development and utilization, solid waste and wastewater treatment, ecological and environmental management, zero-carbon industrial parks, big data and intelligent environmental monitoring, thereby making positive contributions to building a Beautiful Qinghai and advancing high-quality green and low-carbon development.
Liu thanked CECEP for its longstanding support for Qinghai's economic and social development. He said that, as a key ecological security barrier for China, Qinghai has consistently prioritized ecological conservation and green development while coordinating industrial development with environmental protection. As China's flagship enterprise in the energy conservation and environmental protection sector, CECEP has achieved fruitful cooperation with Qinghai, with significant potential for further collaboration. Qinghai looks forward to strengthening cooperation with CECEP in areas including the resource utilization of solid waste, concentrated solar power and new energy storage, ecological and environmental restoration, energy conservation and clean energy supply, and zero-carbon industrial parks, so as to continuously advance the implementation of high-quality cooperation projects and achieve mutual benefit and coordinated development.
Also attending the meeting were representatives from the Department of Natural Resources of Qinghai Province, the Department of Ecology and Environment of Qinghai Province, the Qinghai Provincial Energy Administration, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Qinghai Province, the People's Government of Xining, and the People's Government of Haixi Mongolian and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture. CECEP attendees included Zheng Zhaohui, Chief Economist and Chairman of CECEP Data; Zhao Youmin, Board Secretary and Director of the Cooperation Department; and representatives from the General Office, CECWPC, CECEP Solar, CECEP Building Energy Conservation, CECEP Guozhen and CGC.
