A pivotal meeting to advance the construction of artificial intelligence (AI) datasets in the green and low-carbon sector was held in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province on April 17. Organized by CECEP, the lead coordinator of the initiative, the event brought together 13 central state-owned enterprises (SOEs) to sign a joint pledge establishing a green and low-carbon data industrial consortium.

In a bid to ignite scientific curiosity, enhance inquiry skills and foster innovation among youth, Yunding Mountain Wind Farm – operated by CECEP Wind-power – partnered with Muma Middle School of Jiange County for an immersive educational event titled "Exploring Clean Energy at Yunding Mountain" on March 24.

On the afternoon of April 18, the Group convened a special session of its Leading Group for the CECEP Yangtze River Economic Belt Pollution Control Main Platform.

During April 14-17, 2025, Liao Jiasheng, Party Committee Secretary and Chairman of the Group, accompanied by outside directors Lin Wanli, Qi Guosheng, Li Yousheng, Zhou Hougui and Peng Bihong, conducted field research on key projects of subsidiaries in Hangzhou, Huzhou, Jiaxing (Zhejiang) and Shanghai.

In March 2025, Merck KGaA and the Pediatric Praziquantel Consortium announced that the first preschool-aged child in Uganda has received treatment with Arpraziquantel (R-PZQ) during an implementation study.
