The poverty relief team of Jiangxi Company has held training sessions in Nanshan Village, Jiangxi Province. With the sessions, the team members and volunteers coached children at the age of compulsory education from poor families in Chinese, math and English for free.
The training sessions started on July 18. Shi Yue, who is stationed in Nanshan Village by the Jiangxi Company as the secretary of the village branch of the Communist Party of China, gave children the first class, and announced the decision of coaching them English every Wednesday in July and August. More than 20 children were present at the first class, six of whom were from poor families.
