On January 30, CECEP held a Party committee meeting, a chief executives’ meeting and an interim meeting of the board of directors. The meetings decided to, with support from its subsidiaries CECEP Ecotech Co., Ltd. and China National Environmental Protection Group, donate 30 million yuan (RMB4.3 million) to Hubei Province, including 24 million yuan (RMB3.5 million) to Wuhan and 6 million yuan (RMB861,000) to Xianning and other cities, to help the province’s efforts in preventing and controlling the pneumonia epidemic caused by a novel coronavirus. Additionally, the group company also planned to donate protective clothing, masks and other protective materials in batches to Wuhan, Xianning and other cities.
