At the recent competitive review of the 2021 first national projects for integrated protection and restoration of mountains, rivers, forests, farmlands, lakes, grasslands and deserts, China Geo-Engineering Corporation’s integrated biodiversity protection and restoration of the Wuling Mountain area in southwest China’s Guizhou Province ranked second among the selected projects.

A meeting to commend role models and promote the alignment of poverty alleviation with rural revitalization was held in Nanning, capital of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, on May 7. A total of 1,200 people, including Du Jinbo, an employee of China New Era Group Corporation who was stationed in a village for poverty relief, were awarded the title of “Model Individual in Poverty Alleviation” in Guangxi.
