Recently, CNEPG Shijiazhuang Company’s independently developed Waste Storage and Fermentation Device with Conveying and Preheating Functions was granted a national invention patent. This marks another technological breakthrough for the company in the fields of solid waste treatment and energy recovery.
To address industry challenges in conventional waste treatment, including long fermentation cycles, low gas production efficiency and particularly poor operating efficiency under the low temperatures of northern winters, the technical team of Shijiazhuang Company spent years tackling key technical problems and successfully developed a new waste storage and fermentation device integrating conveying and preheating functions. Through structural innovation and the design of a heat circulation system, the device enables uniform and stable preheating during waste conveying, effectively maintaining microbial activity in the fermentation chamber, significantly shortening the time required to initiate fermentation, and increasing biogas production and waste reduction. At the same time, the technology can reduce system energy consumption and improve the equipment’s adaptability to complex operating conditions, providing strong technical support for the efficient and stable operation of waste-to-energy projects. The technology has now been validated in the company’s waste treatment projects, where it has demonstrated good operating performance and promising prospects for wider application.
The granting of this invention patent represents an important achievement for Shijiazhuang Company in its efforts to tackle key technologies in solid waste treatment and energy recovery. The company will continue to deepen its work in the environmental protection and energy sectors, accelerate the commercialization of key technological achievements, and make greater contributions to the resource utilization of solid waste and the development of an ecological civilization in China.
