On September 3, 2018, opening day of Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC), CECEP Chairman Liu Dashan met with visiting Sierra Leonean President Julius Maada Bio and his wife Fatima Maada Bio at the company headquarters. From August 22 to 26, CECEP CEO Wang Tongzhou headed a delegation to South Korea for China-Japan-South Korea Tripartite Roundtable on Environmental Business. During the trip, they also visited CECEP’s Korean partners and investigated projects with cooperation intentions.

On May 8, CECEP Chairman Liu Dashan met with Christian Dieffenbacher, CEO of the Dieffenbacher Group, and his entourage. Both sides exchanged views on possible cooperation in solid waste treatment and biomass energy development.

On March 28, a 27-member “Green Finance” delegation from Latin America and the Caribbean, jointly organized by the People’s Bank of China and Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), arrived at CECEP headquarters in Beijing. Apart from IDB representatives, the delegation also consisted of government officials and financial professionals from eight countries, namely, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Columbia, Jamaica, Mexico, Peru and Uruguay.
